Friendship Exchange Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Friendship Exchange (FE). By registering for an account or purchasing any of our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Eligibility & Conduct

  • Single Status: You must be lawfully single (not currently married or separated) to participate in the FE database.
  • Accuracy: You agree to provide truthful and accurate biographical information and real (not AI generated or altered) photographs of yourself (not others). FE reserves the right to suspend any profile found to be inaccurate or misleading.
  • Professional Conduct: You agree to communicate with FE staff and other members respectfully.
  • “No Ghosting” Policy: FE maintains a high standard of courtesy. “Ghosting” (suddenly withdrawing from all communication without explanation) is not tolerated either between you and FE or you and a mutual match. If you determine a mutual match is incompatible, you agree to send a polite, respectful closing message, and inform FE of the match failure so that FE can give you another match. FE reserves the right to suspend memberships for reported ghosting.

2. Service Tiers & Fees

  • No-Browse Model: FE contains a private database of members. You cannot browse other members’ profiles. Matches are curated and presented solely by FE Administration.
  • Base Tier Membership: A one-time $10 entry fee grants access to the global database and self-guided courses.
  • VIP Tier Membership: Includes personal consultations/discussions, photo-shoots (local only), and proactive matchmaking for the fees outlined on our website.
  • Matching Fees: A mutual matching fee is payable by the male party once both individuals agree to exchange contact information ($5 for Base-involved matches; $50 for VIP-to-VIP matches).
  • Refund Policy: All consultation and entry fees are non-refundable once the service has been initiated or the database entry is processed.

3. Liability & Guarantees

  • No Guarantees: FE makes no guarantee of the success of any relationship or the frequency of matches, which depends on free will and availability of compatible matches.
  • Hold Harmless: You agree to hold FE and its owner, Jill Ellington, harmless from any claims resulting from activities related to the services provided.
  • Background Checks: FE reserves the right to conduct background checks to ensure the safety of our community, but we are not liable for the behavior of individuals once a connection is made.

By proceeding and submitting the registration form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the Terms & Conditions of Friendship Exchange.

Friendship Exchange is governed by the laws of California.
